Full mouth rehabilitation of a severe periodontitis case.

Immediate implants, bone and tissue grafting were carried out followed by restoration with fixed crowns and bridgework transforming this lady’s quality of life and smile.

Here severe periodontal disease (gum disease) had caused the loss of most of the teeth and destroyed the gum attachment and bone support for the remaining upper teeth making them very loose and unstable. Traditionally, all this lady could now look forward to would be complete dentures. However, we reconstructed her complete dentition with fixed crowns and bridges on dental implants along with the few teeth that could be saved. This created a fabulous smile, restoring her confidence and enhancing her quality of life.
